Margherita Berti is a PhD student in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) at the University of Arizona. Her research specialization resides at the intersection of intercultural competence, educational technology, and curriculum and L2 content development. She has experience in teaching undergraduate courses in Italian, Spanish and ESL, and has presented at many conferences across the United States. Her latest publication “Italian Open Education: Virtual Reality Immersions for the Language Classroom” addresses the use of virtual reality videos as open educational resources for language pedagogy.

Jhonatan Henao Muñoz is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Linguistics, with minors in SLAT, and French Linguistics at the University of Arizona. His research interests are related to formal syntax, translation, and second language acquisition and teaching. Currently, he is learning about Corpus Linguistics, specifically corpus building focused on Second Language Learner Writings. Jhon works mostly with Spanish and French as L2. Outside the academia, he likes to work out, take pictures of flowers and nature, and eat. He is a food enthusiastic.
